Transaction

Last reviewed:

A transaction is a record of crypto moving from one address to another. It includes the sending address, the receiving address, the amount, a fee and a digital signature from the sender's private key. Once it is added to a block and confirmed, it becomes part of the permanent record. Most transactions cannot be reversed.
