How to send crypto: a beginner's guide

Last reviewed:

Sending crypto means moving it from your wallet to another wallet address on a blockchain. You pick the coin, the network and the receiving address, then sign the payment with your key. A network fee is charged. Most crypto payments cannot be reversed, so one wrong character or the wrong network can mean the money is gone for good.
