Privacy Notice

Baskin Logic Crypto Academy. Last updated: 23 October 2026.

1. Who we are

We are Baskin Logic Crypto Consulting L.L.C., a Wyoming limited liability company (Wyoming filing number 2025-001644299).

Our postal address is in every marketing email we send.

We run Baskin Logic Crypto Academy at baskinlogiccrypto.com.

Contact for anything in this notice: [email protected].

2. What this school is

Baskin Logic Crypto Academy is a free beginner crypto school. It is education only. It is not investment, tax or legal advice.

There are no accounts or sign-in, and nothing on this site is for sale. Everything is free. Your lesson progress stays in your browser unless you copy it yourself with a progress code.

We are not a crypto wallet or exchange. We never hold your coins or your keys.

3. If you only read the free pages

You do not give us your name or email to read lessons, topic pages, tools or the glossary.

Like most websites, our host (Hostinger) keeps standard server logs. These can include your IP address, browser type, the page asked for and the time.

Your browser may tell the page your time zone or language so we can show the right clock and language.

4. What is stored on your device

Service worker cache. A service worker saves copies of site files on your device so the school loads faster and works offline. It stays on your device.

Local storage. Your learning progress (lessons read, quiz scores, streak, badges and XP) and your language choice are saved in your own browser. They are not sent to us. You can erase them with “Reset my progress” on the Start Here page, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Analytics only if you say yes. We do not set advertising cookies or tracking pixels. A cookie banner asks first. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (visit statistics) load only if you choose “Accept”. If you choose “Reject”, they never load. Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (key bl-consent), and you can change it any time with “Cookie choices” at the bottom of every page. We also save a note (key bl-popup-seen) so the free-gift pop-up shows only once.

5. The optional email list

You can join our email list on some pages. It is optional. Reading the site never needs it. You must tick the consent box yourself. It is never ticked for you.

What we collect: your email and name; optionally your phone number, social media handle and country; and a record of the exact consent wording you agreed to and when. These go to Mailchimp and to our contact sheet in Google Sheets / Google Drive (Google LLC, USA); see “Our contact list” below. Mailchimp also records when and from which IP address you signed up, so there is proof of your consent. It may record whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked.

Why: to send a welcome email and updates about the school and this site, such as new lessons.

Who handles it: Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) stores the list and sends the emails for us, as our service provider. Its servers may be in the United States.

Your choice: every email has an unsubscribe link and our business postal address. We honor unsubscribe requests. You can also email us and ask to be removed.

Delete: email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my email”. We will delete your email and name from our list and confirm. If you only unsubscribe, Mailchimp keeps your address marked as unsubscribed so you are not emailed again.

We never sell or rent your email or phone number, and we do not use them for anyone else’s advertising. We do not send text messages yet. If we start, we will ask for your separate written consent first. We do not make calls or use WhatsApp.

5a. Play, streaks and badges

On your device only: XP, streaks, levels, badges, quiz answers, review cards, game scores, certificates and your sound, haptics and reminder settings are saved in your browser’s local storage under the key blp-v1. We cannot see them. Clear them any time with “Reset” on the Play page or by clearing site data.

Reminders: on-device streak reminders use your browser’s notification permission and can be turned off in Play settings or your browser. Email streak reminders are optional, sent through Mailchimp only if you tick the reminder box, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Play does not send your progress to our server unless you opt in to the world leaderboard (see “World leaderboard” below). There are no prizes, money or paid boosts. Play is for learning only.

6. The on-site chat

The chat gives short, general education answers. Some answers are written in your browser from built-in replies.

When the live AI answers are switched on, the question you type is sent to our website server and then to Groq (Groq, Inc.), a third-party AI model provider, to write the answer. The answer comes back to your browser.

Our chat code does not save your questions to our server logs or files. Groq receives and processes what you type under its own terms and privacy policy. Our host’s standard server logs may still record that a request was made.

Do not type your name, email, phone number, personal, financial or account details, seed phrases, private keys or passwords into the chat.

Chat answers are general education. They can be wrong. They are not advice.

7. What we never ask for

We never ask for, and you should never send us:

  • seed phrases or recovery phrases
  • private keys or wallet passwords
  • exchange logins or 2FA codes
  • government ID numbers (for example, an SSN, PAN or Aadhaar)
  • card or bank details

8. Who helps us run the school

  • Hostinger hosts the website and keeps server logs.
  • Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) runs the email list, only if you sign up.
  • Google (Google LLC) Sheets / Drive holds our contact list and consent records, only if you sign up.
  • Groq receives chat questions when live AI answers are on (see section 6).
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) receive visit statistics, only if you choose “Accept” on the cookie banner.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for targeted advertising.

9. How long we keep it

We keep your email signup until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep emails you send us as long as we need them to answer you, or as long as the law requires.

10. Children

This site is for users 18 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 has given us data, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

11. Your choices and rights

You can email us at [email protected] to:

  • ask what data we hold about you
  • correct something that is wrong
  • ask us to delete your data, except what the law makes us keep
  • ask any other question about this notice

You can leave the email list any time with the unsubscribe link in every email. We may ask you to write from the address you signed up with so we know it is you.

12. India

If you sign up for email from India, this notice tells you what we collect (sections 3 to 6), why, and who helps us (section 8). You can:

  • withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, with the unsubscribe link or by emailing us
  • ask for a summary of your data, and ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it
  • name another person to use these rights for you if you die or cannot act
  • raise a complaint with us first at [email protected], and then with the Data Protection Board of India if we do not fix it

13. Mexico and Colombia

The site is free to read in Mexico and Colombia. This notice is in English. You can use the rights in section 11 by emailing us.

Shop

The shop is a preview with a waitlist. We do not take payments or orders on this site. If that changes, we will update this notice before any payment is taken and name the payment processor here.

Our contact list

Your email and name; optionally your phone number, social media handle and country; and a record of the exact consent wording you agreed to and when. These are sent to Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA), which runs our email list, and to our contact sheet. We keep that one contact list in Google Sheets / Google Drive (Google LLC, USA), with a weekly backup copy, so we don't email or text you twice and so we honor every unsubscribe.

Text messages

We do not send text messages yet. If we start, we will ask for your separate written consent first.

Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland

Controller: Baskin Logic Crypto Consulting L.L.C., Wyoming, USA ([email protected]). Legal bases: consent for marketing email (Art. 6(1)(a)). Your data is transferred to the USA (Mailchimp, Google, Hostinger) under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. Retention: list data until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, then a suppression entry. Your rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent at any time. You can complain to your local data protection authority (UK: ICO).

World leaderboard

If you opt in to the world leaderboard, we store your nickname, the flag you pick and your learning points on our server so others can see the board. Do not use your real name. You must be 18 or older. You can leave and have your entry deleted at any time from Play settings or by emailing [email protected].

Your US state privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Florida), you may have rights to know, correct, delete and opt out of the sale/sharing of your data. We do not sell or share personal data for targeted advertising. Email [email protected] to use these rights; you may appeal a denial by replying 'Appeal'.

13a. Our app, alerts and your rights

The Baskin Logic Crypto Academy app is this same free website, installed on your phone. It follows this same notice. It does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, files or microphone.

On your device only: your progress, streak, XP, watchlist, paper-trading balance, saved offline lessons, language, alert settings and quiet hours stay on your phone. We never receive them. Clearing the app or browser storage deletes them.

Alerts (optional, off by default): streak reminders and major-story alerts start only when you tap to turn them on and your browser asks for permission. If you turn on major-story alerts, we store only an anonymous push address from your browser, your language, your quiet hours and your time zone, on our server outside the public website. We do not store your name, email or IP address with it. The push itself carries no content; your phone reads our public news file and shows the alert. Turning alerts off deletes the push address from our server. Addresses that stop working are deleted automatically.

News: headlines link to the original publishers. When you open one, that publisher’s privacy policy applies.

Adults only: the site and app are for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Delete your data: email us from the address you signed up with and we will delete your email-list record within 30 days. Data on your device: clear the site or app storage in your browser or phone settings.

Your rights: depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK GDPR, India’s DPDP Act 2023, Mexico’s LFPDPPP, Colombia’s Ley 1581 de 2012, and California’s CCPA/CPRA) you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent at any time. Write to [email protected]. Data controller: Baskin Logic Crypto Consulting L.L.C., Florida, USA.

14. Changes

If we change this notice, we will post the new version here with a new date. If a change affects what we do with your email, we will tell subscribers before it applies.
