Crypto address format checker
- Key takeaway 1
Paste a crypto address to see which network and type it looks like, and whether its built-in checksum is valid. It never connects to the internet.

How it works
Most address types carry a checksum: a few characters computed from the rest. Change one character and the checksum fails. This tool checks Bitcoin Base58Check and Bech32/Bech32m (BIP173/BIP350) checksums fully, and recognises the format of Ethereum-style, Solana, XRP, TRON and Dogecoin addresses.
What it cannot tell you: who owns the address. Address poisoning and clippers use perfectly valid addresses.

Common questions
Does a valid checksum mean the address is safe?
No. It only means the address was not mistyped. Confirm who owns it.
Is my address sent anywhere?
No. The check runs in your browser.
