What is a rug pull?

A rug pull is a scam where the people behind a crypto project suddenly take the money and disappear. They might drain the project's funds, sell all their tokens at once or shut down the website. Buyers are left holding tokens that are worth little or nothing. Rug pulls are common with new tokens and meme coins.
