Crypto scam message decoder

Last reviewed:

Paste a message you got: a text, an email, a DM or a chat. The decoder highlights phrases scammers use and explains each one. It runs on this page only. Nothing you paste is saved or sent.

Do not paste a real seed phrase, private key or password here, or anywhere else. If a message asks for one, that alone tells you it is a scam.

    How to read the result

Red marks are serious flags, such as a request for your seed phrase or a fee to withdraw. Gold marks are warning signs, such as hurry or secrecy. A message with no marks can still be a scam, because scammers change their words. The safest habits do not change: never share keys or codes, never pay to get your own money out, and talk to someone you trust before you send anything.
